Dear Kathleen,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's death in February. I know it has been years since we have been in touch, but I am grateful for our friendship in HS & College, and your kindness in celebrating our wedding nearly 35 years ago. I know your father's strength and care was a blessing for your family and hope your celebration of his life was as much an occasion for joy and the sorrow of his death. Christ's peace and blessing to you and your family. Linda Stewart-Kalen

Our prayers are with his daughter, our friend,Kathleen McVay Savard and the entire McVay family. Their Naval service to our country serves as
an example to all. Nevertheless, the loss of Captain McVay is a loss for all of us. Our prayers are with him and all of
your family.
