Helen Cooper Obituary
She was the daughter of William and Mabel Waybright. Her husband Thomas P. Cooper Sr., died in March in 2009.
She is survived by six children, Thomas P Cooper Jr. and Joyce of Wood-bridge, Jacquelyn Cooper Hurst and Charles of Lake Ridge, Anna Cooper Carroll and Dave of Woodbridge, Donald W. Cooper and Cathy of Catlett, Gerald D. Cooper and Kathryn of Woodbridge and Ronald W. Cooper and Deborah Jo of Dumfries.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday January 9, 2011 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA. The funeral will be Monday 10 a.m. January 10, 2011 with burial at Fairfax Memorial Park.

Sorry to hear of Mrs. Cooper's passing. I grew up around the corner from the Cooper family in the early days of Woodbridge, when everyone was moving to the suburbs. My Mom and Helen stayed friends until my Mom's passing.

My Aunt Helen was a wonderful woman who devoted her life to her husband, her children, grandchildren, and others around her. We will always remember her kindnesses to us when we visited the family as children and into our later years. We extend our deepest sympathy and love to our cousins and their families at this difficult time.
