James Edward Conlon James Edward Conlon, age 79, of Warrenton passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at his home. Jim was born in Newark, N.J. on April 13, 1931 to the late Edward James Conlon and Marie Regina Moore Conlon. His sister, Theresa Conlon, preceded him in death. Jim graduated from Towson (Md.) Catholic High School, then went on to attend Loyola College in Baltimore. He joined the Navy in 1951 and was assigned to the Military Air Transportation Service (MATS). After the service he began his 32 year career with United Airlines where he retired from Dulles in 1987 as the Chief of Ramp Operations.

Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years Marilyn G. Conlon, six children, Colleen and her husband Tom Griffith of Haymarket, Va., Eddie Conlon of Warrenton, Va., Eileen Clarke of Warrenton, Va., Ellen and her husband Bill Weber of Midland, Va., James Conlon, III and his wife Lorraine of South Riding, Va., and Patricia and her husband Mike Girard of Bristow, Va., twelve grandchildren, Tanya, Thomas, Jason, Connor, Molly, Cassie, Kelly, Jake, Jocelyn, Janel, Kelly, Brandon and Ryan and a brother, Edward Conlon and his wife Judy of Verona, N.J.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment Bright View Cemetery.
