Romaine Margaret Griffin Romaine Margaret Griffin, age 64 of Bristow, Virginia died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at her residence.
Romaine was born September 27, 1946 in Manassas, Virginia daughter of the late Raymond W. and Pearlee (Stewart) Griffin. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church. She had retired from Lockheed Martin as a systems analyst.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin B. Griffin and wife Christine and Richard L. Griffin and wife Cassandra, all of Manassas; two sisters, Thelma Davis and husband Earnest and Julia Wiggins all of Manassas; one brother, Kenneth Griffin and wife Tina of Manassas; 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Estell Griffin and brother-in-law, Samuel Moore.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Monday, November 8, 2010 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where services will be held 12:00 Noon Monday with Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Calverton, Virginia.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street, S.E., Vienna, Virginia 22180 in loving memory of Romaine Griffin. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.

To the Griffin family, I am sorry to hear of the passisng of Romaine. She and I worked at JC Penney for a short time together. She had such a warm spirit with her and always a kind word to say. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

it is with profound sadness to learn of Romaine's, sudden passing she was a life long frined of our family and sister-inlaw to my brother Melvin. Words cannot express how anyone feels when we things of this nature come about, but it's God Will;and as Romaine has made her journey we will continue to always remember her , keep her son's and family in our prayers. God Bless and keep you-all strong during this time.
