LOWN - William C., of Smithtown, NY on May 11, 2017 at the age of 82. Retired Athletic Director, Brentwood School District & Proud Veteran U.S. Army. Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father of William D. (Carla) Lown, and Elizabeth Pappas. Cherished grandfather of Katie and Joseph. Dear brother of Joan Shankel, Carolyn Lown and Dori Cacchio. Visitation Sunday 2-6 pm at The Branch Funeral Home, 190 E. Main St. Smithtown, NY 11787. Funeral Service 10:00 am Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Smithtown. A great Teacher & Coach one of my favorites at BHS he was an all around nice guy who actually tried to help his students succeed not only in school but in life. Rest in Peace Coach, you left here with honors. Condolences to his family.
