1936 - 2016

DEROSA - Dr. Ciro T. "Jerry" was granted Eternal Rest with his parents, siblings, and the Lord Our God, while surrounded by his wife, daughters, and grandchildren on Jan. 31, 2016. Jerry was born in Brooklyn, NY on 4-4-1936. He served in the US Army, ran a successful business for over 40 years, and was a gifted and respected educator. A lifelong learner with a natural curiosity for all things, he pursued higher education, completing his doctorate. Above all else, Jerry loved his family and friends, placing them at the center of his life. He leaves behind his cherished wife Giovanna (59 years), beloved daughters Carmel-Ann (Rob) and Rafaela (John), six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Love of family, friends, God, and country always took center stage in Jerry's mind and heart. His legacy will continue through all those who knew him and loved him dearly.
