Aunt Bernice, was very special to me, I grew up living across the street on Virginia Ave. N. Bellmore and love to visit them and eat a fig off their fig tree. When I was older and married Aunt Bernice had me try frogs legs, she was eating. Guess what they taste like chicken. Oh the good old days. Glad to be her niece, to have such a great aunt . I am very sad to hear that Aunt Bernice has passed away. She was a lovely woman and I feel lucky that I had the privilege of spending time with her when I was little. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved her, especially Uncle George and my grandmother. Love, Laura, Shaun, Colin, and Nathaniel.
