Hilda McLendon

McLENDON - Hilda passed away at 80 years old after a short illness, at home in Virginia Beach, on Saturday, February 27th. She was the youngest and last of four children. Loving wife of John Harris. Beloved mother of Lynne, Gary and Gail (deceased). Treasured grandmother of Tyara, Jackie, Alexandra and Gibril. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Hilda had retired from Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre after 35 years of service. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd at Graham Funeral Home in Chesapeake, Virginia at 10am. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations are sent to the Children's Museum in Garden City, NY.
