DUFFY - Mary M. (nee Mogav- ero of Malverne and Elmont in her 87th year on December 26, 2015 after an extended illness. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Francis. Loving mother of Elaine (James) Hunter. Cherished nana of Jack. Adored daughter of the late Vincenzo and Vincenza Mogavero and her late sister Isabella. Cherished sister in law of Aileen O'Leary. Dear aunt to her five nieces and nephew. Mary will be greatly missed by her caregiver Manana. After growing up in Maspeth, Queens Mary graduated college as an industrial chemist. Mary later went on to become a chemistry teacher for Elmont Memorial High School. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home,lnc. 34 Hempstead Avenue (Corner Peninsula Blvd ) Lynbrook. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Lynbrook, Cremation Private.
