I was saddened to hear about Rudy's passing. I hope and pray that you will have strength during this time of loss.
I played baseball with Rudy with the Elmhurst Saxons when we were children. I played the field and Rudy would pitch. Years later we would hear of his successes with the Giants. One time I met him at an old A&P warehouse, (the players would work there in the off season), and he introduced me to Gil Hodges.
It's been many years, and I remember meeting Peggy and Kitty, you have a nice family, and Rudy was a good man.
thank you.
