McDERMOTT - Edward of Levittown, NY on January 10, 2015 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Doris. Devoted father of Nancy Gandolfo (John), Michael (Mary) and Judy Mahoney (Daniel). Loving grandfather of Erin, Sean, Kevin, Ryan, Jeanine, Christopher, Katie and James. Cherished great-grandfather of Gabriella, Max, Chloe, Scarlett, Bryce, and David. Adored brother of Eugene (Barbara). Proud WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran and lifetime member of the American Legion Post #1711. Dedicated member of the K of C Holy Innocence Council for 25 Years. Family will receive friends Monday, 2-5 and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, 10:15 am, at St. James R. C. Church, Seaford. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery. www.osheafuneral.com
