CROWLEY - Anne M. of Long Beach and former longtime East Rockaway resident passed away on August 20th in her 74th year after a courageous fight. Anne was raised in East Rockaway and attended St Raymond's School and later St Agnes High School. Anne later attended and graduated Molloy College's first graduating class and served as the first class president (1959). Anne spent her professional career in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District as a teacher, Guidance Counselor, Assistant Principal, and finally as an Assistant Superintendant. After her retirement Anne joined the Peace Corps. and for 2yrs lived on the Isle of Ulithe, Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean. Anne was also a former Commodore of the Hewlett Point Yacht Club. Anne is predeceased by her parents Francis and Mary Crowley and her older sister Florence. Anne is survived by her loving brother Frank (late Mary Jo) and her sister Mimi Ryan (Tom). Dear aunt of Brian, Michael, Margaretrowley and Thomas, Edward and Kerry Siddiqi. Cherished great aunt of 14 nieces and nephews; her "joys".
