as February passes again and it has been 3 years since Lisa's passing I have thought about her many times. I thought of her missing Emily's and Michael's Confirmations and then Katie's Prom and High School Graduation. We all knew Lisa as a wonderful devoted friend and just a generous pal to the world. Her whimsyness was her style and that character that she created called Dr Lisa was a quick witted ever honest..never leave you hangin friend. She created the world and lit up that house that she so generously shared.. she wanted us all to share in her world. As a dentist she was dedicated and always thinking of how to help you without cleaning out your wallet. I loved the stories after the trips to the Islands when she came back w braided hair and an Irish tan.. she told us of their adventures. Life w Lisa had to be an adventure! So I miss her and the stories of how she walked into walls and fell over herself and would do that Lisa shrug.. I was very confident w her as my dentist and always called her directly . Barbara wasn't always happy w that! I am sure poor Larry Katie Emily and Michael miss her incredibly so. I know I do and know that she set them all on wonderful paths and will always remember her as a really good Mom wife and professional and always as Lisa or Dr Lisa.. What a brilliant gal ! Imagine that! she made time to teach religion to Katie's class.. my favorite time many years ago was when she and I read over the ten commandments and she said "Lets get them to get it !" So we made up 10 commandments that the kids would understand.. we called it the Do's and Don't list .. after that they started to learn the meaning of the real commandments .. We always had fun as she " threw " the kids their snack that she provided always ..
I know she's in heaven right now laughing at all of US!
God Bless her and I am grateful to have been her friend...
