PILIGRA - Charles Joseph, 88 of Jericho, NY, died January 22, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Air Force Veteran. Charlie was the son of the late Carmela (nee Muscianesi) and Salvatore Piligra. He was married to Helen (nee Musumeci) who predeceased him in 1990. He was a loving father to son Richard and wife Donna, son Thomas and wife Lily, and daughter Helene Chodkowski, loving brother to Maria and her husband Lawrence Seid. He will be dearly missed, by grandchildren Kristen Panetta and husband Adam, Daniel Piligra and wife Marcia, James Piligra, Melissa Filingeri and husband Jason, Stephen Piligra, and Elena and Deanna Chodkowski. He was also survived by great-grandchildren Kayla, Jason, Charly, Vivian, and Sophie, He was preceded in death. by his brother Blaise in 2002 and is survived by sister-in-law Marie Piligra. He was also a loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday 2-5 and 7-9pm at the Thomas F. Dalton. Funeral Homes, Hicksville Chapel, 47 Jerusalem. Avenue (Corner of West Marie Street). Mass Monday 10am at St. Paul the Apostle RC. Church, Brookville. Cremation Private.
