To Ernie, the best defensive back in Seton Hall's history. You were and are admired by your friends and classmates, and surely by your Dad, who undoubtedly is sitting with my Dad in Heaven. Larry

Our Deepest Sympathy, Ernie, to you and your family. How special that you Dad lived for 100 years. As a genealogist, I assure you that he was a rarity! :)
I am a 1961 Seton Hall Classmate of Ernie Jr's.

Although I did not know Ernest personally, I am a good friend of his Granddaughter, Lynn. I know that she spoke very highly of him and loved him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn and her family.

Although not actually related, Ernest Maler was fondly known to us as "Uncle Ernie". A man of great personal warmth, a gregarious story teller, with a keen mind, he was a accomplished golfer as well. A man who served his community in many voluntary ways, especially the Patchogue Rotary, and Knights of Columbus. A lover of cats. We enjoyed many wonderful occasions with him, and having known him significantly enriched our lives.
