Jerry O'NEILL Obituary

O'NEILL - Jerry (Jerome) 84, Retired Suffolk Co. Police Lt., served US Army during Korean War. Formerly of King's Park, Hobart, NY, and many places throughout the USA (courtesy of their motor home), passed in his sleep on 2-16-13, in Brevard Co., FL. Beloved husband of 51 years to Eileen. Father to Noreen, Peter, Colleen, Janeen and Jerilynn. Grandfather to Liam, Colin, Laura, Devon Joy, Keith, Casey and Aura. Great grandfather to Isabella. Predeceased by wife, Noreen (nee Connolly) 1960. His family was everything. His generosity, community spirit, sharp wit (ex. a welcome mat that read "Not You Again") and ability to make friends everywhere, will be missed by many, recalled fondly by all, and hopefully live on in his progeny. Wake Clayton's (Thu, Fri 2-4, 7-9pm) 25 Meadow Road, King's Park Mass Sat. at St. Joseph's RC, 59 Church St., King's Park 10:30AM.
