2/8/16 3 weeks today since you passed. The memories continue to come in waves . . Lou bumping on the couch even after the rest of us stopped; Lou couldn't breathe well, the doctor found a dried pea and Lou explained that he bumped into a tree and the pea flew up his nose; Lou rocking in his rocking chair; Lou hitchhiking from Kentucky to Louisiana to surprise me but I was AWOL; Lou being a husband & father; Lou taking out a window in my house and putting in a sliding glass door, Lou getting lost with me and his kids hiking in an Oregon park while camping; Lou trying to come to my retirement party but that darn 911 getting in the way; Lou on our family vacation at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival; Lou coming to my wedding in 2008; Lou still having that twinkle in his eye during our last Christmas together. . . love you & miss you, Ca

My brother, my friend! I will never forget our years together. My happiest times have been the years since I came down to Florida and shared dinners, movies, concerts, hanging out with you and Joan, meeting your friends and enjoying everyones company. Till I see you again, love you.

I think of Lou sitting in his big chair in front of the fireplace, wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, and that beautiful smile, with a dog by his feet. Thanks for so many happy memories, Lou. Yours was a life well-lived. Deepest sympathies to Joanie, Jill, Rick, Joanne, Carol, Rick, Melissa & Ricky. Thinking of you all and your families during this difficult time.

What a nice tribute. Uncle Louie was so much fun to be around... He was always doing such fun things with us kids. I loved sleeping over and joining his family on camping and beach trips. He always had good music playing and every time I hear an Eagles song I think of him and those fun times. He was so easy going. He loved his rocking chair and will forever remember him in it. There are so many wonderful memories I have of my favorite uncle <3 The most precious memory I have of him is at the funeral of my sister Maria, how he hugged me as I was crying and he cried with me... He was an amazing man who I will greatly miss... I love you uncle Louie xo Love, Laura
