BENSON-Philip A., formerly of West Islip, on February 10, 2005, in his 91st Year. Philip is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Martha and his loving children, Ronald, Gary (Linda) and Bruce (Virginia). Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren. Mr. Benson, better known as "Phil the Barber" was the owner of Phil's Barber Shop, located in West Islip for over 40 years. The Bensons will receive friends and family on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, on Monday at 10AM. Interment will take place at Queens of All Saints Cemetery of Central Islip. Arrangements were handled under the care and dedication of Lang-Tobia-DiPalma Funeral Home, 255 Higbie La., West Islip, NY 11795.
