Fr. Bob was a great supporter of our work at the Catherine of Siena Institute and personally very kind to me and my husband. I had visited him and his parish on Long Island several times and he also came out to some of our events on the west coast. We are very grateful to Fr. Bob for his generosity and support in the difficult early years of our work.
Fr. Bob and I have stayed in touch since his stroke via letter and I remember him fondly. I am very sorry for your loss. He was a warm, faithful, and enthusiastic man of God and we will miss him.

Cousin Bobby will be sorely missed...more than a blood relative, a true friend that inspired me in times of need to live life to the fullest...my sorrow goes out to the entire family, but keep in mind he is now in a better place...Love to all

Bob made a deep impression on me in his handling of his illness. His degrees, books (thousands) meant nothing to him in comparison to his gift of continued yet diminished life. He accepted his suffering in a very humbling and often humorous way. Our prayers to him for all who feel this deep loss.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Fr. Bob, a truly wonderful, spiritual and faithful man of the cloth. We had the pleasure of working in our ministries with Fr. Bob at St. Ignatius in Hicksville. We shared many wonderful times together and learned a great deal from each other. Our family has truly lost a great man and we will keep his family in our prayers. His passing is a great loss to our family and to the diocese.

Father Bob Giuntini was one of the most special people I have come to know and love. He was a gentleman and a scholar. He was someone who was curious and was always learning. His deep faith and spirituality was something to emulate. His illness brought this spirituality to the forefront as those of us who knew him saw how he never complained or became bitter. He never lost his faith and cherished it fervently. He struggled everyday with his inability to do the common things we take for granted, and yet, never lost his sense of humor nor his focus on what was important. I was blessed to know him and to call him a dear friend. I will miss him and miss him already.

Fr. Bob was a kind and generous-hearted priest and just a nice man all around. He had a gifted mind and a wonderful sense of humor. And also suffered much physically without complaint. A piece of him will always be in my heart and mind. With love and respect.

Bob was a great friend and mentor, brought abundant joy to my life for 34 years - starting when I met him at the age of 10. His humor was unique. He will be sorely missed.
