Dear Mrs. Downey, Tom, and Jeff,
We found out while we were away on vacation that Mr. Downey had passed. I will always have fond and loving memories of Mr. Downey driving us around while campaigning for Tom, and then buying us pizza at Pizza Town.
Please know you are in our hearts and prayers. We will get in touch with you soon.
All our love,
John, Theresa, and Billy Palmisano

Although I never met the deceased, I have met his son, Tom, many times, having been active in various Lindenhurst community affairs and parades. I did know his father, in fact he had hired me when he was Salesmanager of Drake Bakeries, and was responsible for my successful career with company through his wisdom and guidance. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Tom,
Sorry for your loss.
Though I never met your father I have fond memories of working with you for the benefit of Grumman and all of Long Island.
