I've never known a better loved pharmacist. I'll always remember the first day he walked into Williamsburg Drug-- his smile, his laugh, thoughtful advice and encouragement. He will always be an inspiration to me.

The first words to describe Tom are ethical and moral; the next is funny.
I remember his silly laugh, the time he came in and as he stepped up into the pharmacy area he noticed he had on two different colored shoes! I car pooled a few times with Tom in his white Ford (before the corvette!) to St John's and loved to read his notebooks--in amongst all the tedious notes would be jokes! I was in Peg and Tom's wedding; they were in mine but most importantly they are my daughter's god parents.
I first began at "The Drugstore" around 1959--and there are so many stories about this place and all the people, especially at this time of year.
Peggy, both Jim and I are so saddened for you at your loss.

Tom was a very special person in our lives. My relationship with Tom dates back to the old Syosset Drug Store days where I met Tom and all of the other wonderful people ,who became part of my life.........Our friendship with Tom and Peggy endured ,sharing countless wonderful occassions with them.....He was godfather to our daughter.........My wife and I were so happy we were able to spend some time with him in Oct...........He will always be in our hearts and minds.

We are saddened by the passing of Tom, and are so glad that we were able to spend time with him , Peggy, Lauren and Cody this past October.
A wonderful human being, Tom was a true gentleman, devoted husband and father and a great friend. We have many fond memories of our times together in Stony Brook. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with Peg and family. While he has gone on to join the angels, Tom will be sorely missed.
