MARINO - Francis J., age 84,formerly of Roosevelt, LongIsland, New York, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at FloridaMemorial Hospital Hospicecare in Daytona Beach, Florida. Frank graduated from Hempstead High School and attended High Point College in North Carolina. He wrote a sports column for the Nassau Review and was theowner of Calderone Liquor Store. Frank worked in the wineindustry and retired as National Sales Director for a major wine importer, loved sports and adored his family. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia; 2 sons, Peter (Rosetta) Malvese of Cedarhurst, New York, andMatthew (Susan) Malvese of Medfield, Massachusetts; and Carl Casagrande of Coral Springs, Florida, whom he loved like a son. He is also survived by his sister, Carmel Workman; niece, Annetta (Dale) Zea; and extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 25, 2014, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 4000 S. Atlantic Avenue, New Smyra Beach,Florida, with Father Patrick Quinn, T.O.R. officiating. Calling hours will be 6:00-8:00pm.Tuesday, June 24 at Settle-Wilder chapel, 406 S. Orange Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168.
