John was a wonderful person in every way - kind, considerate, hard working, smart, and funny. His energy, optimism, and enthusiasm for everything in life, including of course Corvettes, were an inspiration for everyone who knew him. We were very, very fortunate to count him among our friends and though we will always miss him terribly we can take some measure of comfort from the fact that the memories of his smile, his laughter, and his sweet nature will be with all of us forever.

I have known John since 1983 in the Corvette hobby. He was always the easy going person who could make sense in any situation. His depth and wisdom certainly made a difference for many.
In addition, his mother and my mother lived in the same retirement community. We shared experiences about caring for our parents. Definitely a friend indeed to be missed.
