First as a resident and later as an attending physician, I worked with Dr. Roginsky for many years at NCMC. He was a brilliant and caring physician and medical educator who had an encyclopedic knowledge of medicine and taught countless young physicians and medical students throughout his career. He made an enormous contribution to the profession and is still missed by many. Remembering him on the anniversary of his passing...

Dr. Roginsky was the first doctor to diagnose my husband's rare endocrine tumor when he was 13. He became my in-laws' most trusted doctor and family friend ever since. He inspired my husband to become an internist. Coincidentally he was also my mentor and supporter when I just graduated from medical school. He somehow acted as a matchmaker for me and my husband. He devoted his time to take care of sick people especially poor patients. He'll be missed.

To Dr Roginsky's family,
I am sorry for your loss. My mother had your husband and father for many years as her doctor and had done a great job to help her with her Thyroid issues. I remember seeing him when I was a kid on the many visits to the hospital, he was very kind to me, may he rest in eternal peace.
