Gerry E. Moore, 86, of Sardinia, formerly of California, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Adams County Manor in West Union.
She was born Feb. 4, 1928 in Pittford, Mich., the daughter of the late David N. and Julia E. Caulkins Fish. She was also preceded in death by one brother, John Fish.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, James W. Moore of Sardinia; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Moore of Lakeside, Calf.; one daughter and son-in-law, Julieann and James Fitzpatrick of San Marcos, Calif.; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ellis Bill Fish of Paducah, Ky., Gene and Charlotte Fish of Howard City, Mich., Clark and Glema Fish of Hillsdale, Mich., and Raymond and Lovinna Fish of Battle Creek, Mich.; four grandchildren and spouses, Ann and Jerry Simpson of Georgetown, David Moore of Lakeside, Calf., Christopher and Gina Moore of San Tan Valley, Ariz., and Adam Moore of San Diego; nine great grandchildren, Lynann, Tylar and Kyndra Simpson of Georgetown, Gavin, Ashton and Tanner Moore of Las Vegas, Genevieve and Teagen Moore of San Tan Valley, Ariz., and Tristan Denton-Moore of San Diego; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Maggie.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, March 8, at Peace Lutheran Church in Arnheim. Mrs. Moore donated her body to the University of Cincinnati for scientific research. The Beam-Fender Funeral Home, in Sardinia, serving the family.
