Wilmer Ray Delk, 87, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
He was born Jan. 22, 1926, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Everett Delk and the late Ethel White Delk.
Mr. Delk was a laborer for Nelson Company of KY. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II and a member of Lewisburg Church Of Christ.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with Mr. Pat Kerstiens and Mr. Jerry Crunk officiating. The family chose cremation following the service. His ashes will be buried at Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation began at the funeral home Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Edwards Delk; his daughters, Carolyn Costelow of Russellville and Sharon Brown (Bobby) of Sharon Grove; his sister, Sue Penrod of Lewisburg; his grand children, Steven Costelow (Lisa) and Patrick Costelow (Teresa), both of Russellville and Derek Brown (Heather) of Elkton, and his great-grandchildren, Taylor Costelow, Kayla Costelow and Autumn Costelow, all of Russellville.
