William Earl Viers, 59, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, in the Auburn Health Care.
He was born April 6, 1954, in Logan County, a son of Annie Mae Hines Viers of Auburn and the late William Viers.
Mr. Viers was a United States Army veteran. He worked with Premier Transportation and Houchens Industries as a truck driver and is a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Auburn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Auburn with Reverend Michael Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday, Oct. 25 from 6-8 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel and Saturday, Oct. 26 at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers are Glenn Hines, Kevin Hines, Tim Viers, Barry Hines, Tony Hines, Alan Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Frank Elliott, Rickie Malone and Timmy Hayes.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Viers is survived by his sons, Jeremy Viers and Andrew Viers, both of Glasgow and Josh Etheridge of Russellville; his daughters, Megan Neighbors and Christopher of Auburn, Shaneike Brooks of Elkton, Juana Faye of Bowling Green and Brianna Viers and Maureena Barlow, both of Glasgow; his brothers, Glenn Hines and Connie of Bowling Green, Kevin Hines Michelle of Auburn and Tim Viers of Ocean Side, Calif.; his sisters, Pam Viers of Auburn and Janice Carter of Franklin, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
