Gerald Lane Gaddie, 65, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at his home.

He was born June 25, 1948, in Logan County, a son of the late Shelby and Ray Davis Gaddie on.

Mr. Gaddie was a Vocational Tech Counselor for McCracken, Calloway and Marshall Counties and was United States Army Veteran. Mr. Gaddie was a Russellville High School graduate, and a graduate of Western Kentucky University

A memorial service was held Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Episcopal Trinity Church on South Main in Russellville with Priest in Charge Geoffrey Butcher officiating. Visitation began at the church Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 12 p.m. until time of service. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his daughter, Rainey Ray Gaddie of Murray; his brother, Gywnne Gaddie and wife Beverly of Russellville; his niece, Shannon Davenport; his nephews, Matthew Lee Gaddie and Nicholas David Gaddie; two great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
