John Thomas Huffman (J.T.), 66, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
He was born March 7, 1947, in Warren County, a son of the late John Henry Huffman and Annie Mae Southerland Cosby Huffman.
Mr.Huffman was a member of Center Baptist Church in South Union. He was a Facilities Management Technician at Western Kentucky University for 10 years. He was a Honorary Past Master and Past Worthy Patron of Ancient Landmark Lodge #28 F & AM. Past Worthy Patron, Evening Star Chapter #126 Order of Eastern Star. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. at Center Baptist Church in South Union. Burial followed at Logan School House Cemetery. Visitation began Sunday, Aug. 25 from 4-8 p.m. at State Street Baptist Church in Bowling Green.
Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his sisters, Hazel Huffman, Judy Jewell and Frances Huffman, and her brothers, Curtis (Sharon) Cosby and William (Karen) Huffman, all of Bowling Green.
