William Lasley Johnson, 79, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green.
He was born July 15, 1934, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Virgil Marshall Johnson and the late Nannie Willhite Johnson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Gibson Johnson and his son, William Larry Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was former owner and operator for Ranger Auto Parts and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Reverend Sam Romines and Reverend David Jicka officiating. Burial will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Monday, Dec. 2 after 3 p.m.
He is survived by his sons, Chris Johnson (Alicia) and Mitchell Johnson (Heather), both of Lewisburg; his daughter, Sheila Barrow (Jeff) of Russellville; his grandchildren, Janet Wright and Courtney Jackson, both of Russellville, Will Johnson of Bowling Green and Meredith Johnson, Cade Johnson and Jenny Brooke Johnson, all of Lewisburg, and his great-grandchildren, Chandler Jackson, Kendall Jackson and Weston Wright, all of Russellville
