G.W. Harbison, 90, of MacArthur Street, Russellville, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

He was a Logan County Native born to the late George Edward Harbison and Tiny George Harper Harbison. He was married to the late Frances McDougal Harbison. He was a Body Technician and was a member of the United Methodist Temple.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Simpson of Bon Aqua, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Gene Bush, Chris Bush, Will Bush and Tammy Gatlin; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for G.W. Harbison will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Sayre officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 29 and continue until the service hour at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are Randy Simpson, Jerry Thatcher, Allen Owens, Paul Bush, David Gatlin and Johnnie Simpson.

Donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
