Wilbanks Jr. , Proctor Bonham*  
Proctor Bonham Wilbanks, Jr., 74, of Panama City, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. Proctor was born in Greenville, SC, and lived in this area for the last 8 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired from the Department of the Army, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Proctor was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his brother, Michael Wilbanks and wife Stephanie of Panama City; 2 nephews, Christopher Dylan Wilbanks and wife Christy and Troy Edward Wilbanks and wife Casey; and a niece, Samantha Michelle Wilbanks-Allen and husband Matthew. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors offered by the US Army will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Williams, James Devane*  
James Devane Williams, 90 of Valparaiso, Florida passed away on December 16, 2014. He was born May 19, 1924 in Bonifay, Florida to the late Dougal and Nellie Mae Williams. Devane was a native of Holmes County Florida and attended Bonifay High School and Bethlehem High School, graduating in 1943. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Altair during World War II and was a Civil Service employee for more than 37 years. He was an avid fisherman/hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He had many hobbies, including but not limited to photography, wine making, woodworking, gardening, net tying and grilling. He had a wonderful sense of humor, generous with his time and was kind hearted. He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Niceville where he served as treasurer, taught Sunday school and was a member of the Methodist Men's Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Amy Luverne Whitaker Williams; four children, Carl (Joan) Williams of FL, Stanley (Shirley) Williams of NC, Dennis Williams of FL, Anita (Dennis) Townsend of GA; eight grandchildren, Keith (Ashley) Williams of FL, Curtis Williams of USAF, Amy (Colby) Jackson of NC, Chad (Roxanne) Williams of NC, JaeDe (Michelle) Williams of FL, Amber Williams of GA, Clinton Townsend of GA, Malori Townsend of GA; nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Anna, Avery, William, Kennedy, Reddeck, Merideth, Jacob, Ander; four sisters, Helen Robinson of AL, Mary Yenyo of OH, Bobby (Fletch) Kee of FL, Olivia Smith of NH; two brothers, Andrew 'Junior' Williams of VA, Alford (Janice) Williams of FL; also many nephews & nieces. He was preceded in death by son, Hugh Brian Williams. Funeral services will be conducted at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Friday 11:30 AM, December 19, 2014 with visitation 1 hour before service and interment in the church cemetery. Reverend Matthew Rich of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and Reverend Dr. Jeff Spicer of Mary Esther United Methodist Church will officiate. Peel Funeral Home directing.
