Donna Kay Medlock, 52, of Panama City, FL passed away on October 27th, 2013 after a long battle with breast cancer
She was welcomed home by her son, Gary Lee Medlock; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Medlock; and by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We can all rejoice in knowing that she has found eternal peace. Many came to know Donna Kay through her career as a beautician, or later through her career at Tommy Thomas Chevrolet, where she was the only saleswoman in Bay County at the time. This was truly a reflection of her personality and character. She was always courageous when facing adversities with such dignity and grace.
Donna Kay was a loving mother and devoted grandmother, not only to her own children but to all who entered her home. She was often lovingly referred to as "Momma Kay". Her vivacious spirit and witty sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
Donna Kay is survived by two children, Scott Medlock and spouse Lindsay, and Stephen Medlock; her beloved grandson, Cade Medlock; mother, Frances Adams; and sisters, Debbie Brogdon and spouse Leslie, Angela Posey, and Cindy Hutchinson.
Services will be held Wednesday October 30, 2013 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hankins officiating. The Family will receive friends starting at 2pm for visitation, with the service beginning at 3pm. Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Brogdon, Mathew Brogdon, David Skipper, Brent Skipper, Destin Posey, Clayton Posey. Honorary pallbearers are Leslie Brogdon and Chad Daniels.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice, for their loving care in Donna Kay's final days. Kent-Forest Lawn
