James Christopher Walters(1958 - 2013)

MSgt. (Ret) James Christopher Walters, 56, of Panama City, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at a local hospital. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service, he also worked as an officer at Gulf Correctional Institution in Wewahitchka, FL, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and also did volunteer work with the Knights of Columbus as well.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years: Cerenia Walters; and three sons: James D. Walters, Matthew Walters, and Richard Walters.

A Mass of the Christian Burial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church with Father Peter Zalewski officiating. Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013, with a 6:00 Rosary at Heritage Funeral Home.
