Marvin "Buster" Core Jr., 68, of Bayou George, Fla., passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 3, 1941, in Ridgeland, S.C., to the late Marvin Leon and Dorothy Harris Core. He was a lifelong resident of the Panama City area except when he served his country in the U.S. Marines for four years. Mr. Core was employed by Bay County as an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Whitlaw Core; son, Marvin Lynn Core; three grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Alley (Donald), Dottie Evans (Tracy) and Diane Whiddon (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. EST Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, in Eastpoint Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

I worked with Marvin as a mechanic for several years, learned a lot from him, I'm very sorry he is not with us anymore. Rest in peace my freind Sincerly Steve Reid
