John Monlyn Obituary
John was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Inez Letlow Monlyn; son, Ray Charles White; father, Milton Boyd; mother, Beulah Monlyn Cooper; and stepfather, Merchant Cooper of Blountstown, Fla. He leaves to cherish years of beautiful family memories, one sister, Willie Mae Fennell of Blountstown, Fla.; six daughters, Wanda Byrd, Lawton of Oklahoma, Debra Murphy, Roberta Monlyn, Anna Monlyn-Walker (Bryon), Marshell Monlyn, all of Panama City, Fla., Karen Monlyn-Jones (Freddie) of Tallahassee, Fla.; two sons, Vence Monlyn of Panama City, Fla., and John L. Monlyn (Patrice) of Orlando, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Ms. Ethel Hamilton of Bainbridge, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011, at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church located at 1942 E. Seventh St., Panama City, Fla., with the Rev. Parnell Smith Sr., pastor, and the Rev. David Glover officiating. Mr. Monlyn will be laid to rest in Redwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Roberta Monlyn, 3555 Brentwood Place, Panama City, Fla.
The public may sign the guest book today from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anna, Vence, and family,
Your father was a beautiful treasure. I know he will be missed. He is now with our Heavenly Father telling him all about his wonderful family.
