Cecil Daw Obituary

Cecil Daniel Daw left this world after a long, hard battle against cancer. He was called to go home by his Heavenly Father early morning Thursday, May 19, 2011. He leaves behind his loving wife, Vera, who was always by his side. Cecil also leaves his daughter, Debbie and son-in-law Thomas Killingsworth who were always there for him and cared for him deeply. Also surviving are 13 siblings, a daughter Jessalinda Meekins and son Cecil, Jr., who live in Pensacola; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Monroe Daw, mother Viola Daw, and a son, Tony Magaldi.
Cecil had many friends from his years of work at Cowart Lincoln-Mercury, Covington Truck Parts, Heavy Duty Truck Parts, Budget, Avis, Honda, and Suzuki. He also leaves behind his Dachshund, Heidi. who was his best friend and sidekick, and always by his side.

According to his wishes, he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Cecil's name to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405. We appreciate so much the gentle and loving care they gave. A memorial service for Cecil will be announced at a later date.
