Charles Cobb Obituary

Mr. Charles Calvert Cobb, Jr., age 69, of Vernon, Florida passed away June 15, 2011 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, FL.

He was born February 28, 1942 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Charles Calvert Cobb, Sr. and Margaret Carson Cobb.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Lynn Cobb and a brother, Richard Cobb.

Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife, Sharon Hughes Cobb of Vernon, FL; a son, Mark Cobb of Panama City Beach, FL; two sisters, Mary Shockley and Nancy Kirkpatrick both of Panama City, FL.

A memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Vernon Methodist Church with Rev. Wesley Syfrett officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Sherri, I was so sorry to hear of Charles' passing. He was a wonderful person and pastor. I still have several pieces of furniture that he made and will treasure them always. My condolences to you and Mark The long goodbye is over.
