Alton Boyett, 77, of Panama City, FL, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at his home.

He was born in Wauchula, FL in 1936. He was a resident of Springfield, FL for more than 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. He loved his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Yvonne Boyett; sisters, Louise Bruner and Betty Fiquett; two half brothers and two half sisters; children, Tammy & Timothy Howell, Alton & Helen Boyett, Sandy Morris, Rev. Douglas & Sharon Boyett, Melissa & Dwayne Buxton; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carles Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Those wishing to extend condolences may do so at www.heritagefhllc.com.
