Janet Lynn Landress 58, of Chipley, Fla., passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Flowers Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born February 5, 1955 in Columbus, Ga., to Pat and Blanch Landress. Janet was a caring mother and Nana who loved her family and friends. She was an avid University of Georgia and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson fan. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Jan loved to cook and bake beautiful custom cakes. She enjoyed the past 20 years of her life on "Tobacco Road" in Chipley, Fla.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and sister Linda Steverson.

She is survived by daughter Tracey Zimmerman of Chipley, Fla. and her three children Maxwell, Kaitlyn, and Jazmyne; son James Horn and wife Charlea of Graceville, Fla, and their children Anna and Peyton, and son Matthew Horn of Wausau and son Lee and step children Selick and Dillion. She is also survived by sister Gail Stell of Benecia, Ca, brother Bill Landress and wife Tracey of Columbus, Ga.

There will be a memorial service Saturday June 25th 2-4 p.m. at White Double Church, 3208 Clement Court, Chipley, Fla, 32428. All family and friends are invited to attend.
