Robert "Bob" Davenport, 77, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home.

Bob was a long-time resident of Bay County and a member of the VFW and American Legion. He served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War during his 20 years of service in the US Air Force. After retirement, Bob worked as a boat mechanic for OMC. He loved fishing and being outdoors.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ruth Davenport; and two brothers, Tommy and David Davenport.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane Davenport; two sons, Tommy and David Davenport; two sisters, LaDonna Sue Diacon and Kristy Henshew (Tommie); and grandchildren Stevie and Angela Davenport.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 12 noon at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Kent Forest Lawn
