BMCM (MDV) USN (Retired) Clyde "Michael" Einhellig, 70, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at a local hospital.
He was born June 10, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan. and was a member of the Cherokee Nation. He joined the Navy at seventeen years of age and retired after 34 years of service in the Navy and worked for ten more years in the U.S. government afterwards. He has traveled from one pole to the other while in the Navy.
Mike was predeceased by a son, Hans Einhellig and a daughter, Jeri Einhellig.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Einhellig; two sons, Stephen Einhellig (Joanna), Eddie Einhellig (Kim); a daugh-ter, Heidi Cordray (Greg); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, John Einhellig, Bill Einhel-lig; three sisters, Karen Burke (Mike), Patti Blanchette (Wayne), and Nancy Tadeshe (Paul).
A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lee Rinehart officiating.
