Diana Straley Croft, 65, of Panama City Beach, was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Diana was born in Kansas City, MO, and was the oldest of five children born to the late William D. Straley and Shirley Lynch Straley.
She spent 37 years in the funeral industry as a Pre-Arrangement Counselor. Diana will be best remembered for her tremendous strength and her loving spirit.
Diana is survived by her children: Kenneth H. Croft, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Niceville, FL, Victoria C. Stephens of Charleston, SC, and Shawn F. Croft and his wife Brandi of Crestview, FL; her six grandchildren: Kelsey, Alexis, Taylor, Kayla, Zac, and Carleigh; and her constant & loving companions: Maggie, Blue, Rocket, Mr. Kit and Sweetie B.
Diana was preceded in death by her youngest daughter: Brande Croft George; and by her parents: William D. and Shirley Lynch Straley.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Father Paul Smith officiating. Memorialization is by cremation.
