Donald Pitstick Obituary


Donald Thomas Pitstick, 51, formerly of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 4:20 a.m. at the home of his parents in Kissimmee, Fla., due to a short illness with cancer.

Donald is survived by his parents Thomas E. and Elizabeth Pitstick of Kissimmee; siblings, Diane Bates of Anchorage, Alaska, Debra Neal of Haines City, Fla., Darlene Seawright of Kissimmee, Fla., and Dale Pitstick of Orlando, Fla.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald was born in Indiana and moved to Florida with his family in 1968. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Donald moved to the panhandle of Florida and eventually settled in Panama City in 1995, where he was employed at Sharp Carpet & Ceramic Tile until June 2010.

A Mass will be held in his memory Thursday, June 2, at 11 a.m. in Kissimmee at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Donald's memory.
