Edna Landingham Booth, 86, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010.
She was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Geneva County, Ala., to George Clayton and Maggie Wise Landingham. She had worked at Bowlarama, West Brothers, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and Jinks Junior High School cafeteria. She was a member of St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willmer Lee Booth; and four brothers, Ralph Landingham, Phonsa Landingham, Bruce Landingham and Edsel Landingham. She is survived by three children, Charlotte Halstead and husband, Jerry, Larry Booth and wife, Sandra, and Linda Brown and husband, Steve; four grandchildren, Al Booth and wife, Kim, Elon Bruner and husband, Harry, Douglas Brown and wife, Shawna, and David Brown; and one great-grandchild, Jaxson Booth.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Before Saturday's services, the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
