Gamuel Harding Holley, 90, of Panama City, FL, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012.

Mr. Holley was born May 6, 1921 to James Charley and Nannie Price Holley. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, was the founder of Holley's Cabinet Shop, and was a member of the Oakland Terrace Men's Club. He was also a member and deacon of St. Andrew Baptist Church. Mr. Holley loved hunting, fishing and growing his vegetable garden, which he shared with his many friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; late wife, Ethelyn Holley; and two brothers, Norvie and Purvis Holley.

Survivors include his brother, Windell Holley and wife Judy of Panama City; a sister, Lois Moore of Huntsville, AL; his sons, Ronald Holley and wife Cheryl, and Bill Holley and wife Bonnie, all of Panama City, FL; his daughter, Charlotte Morrow of Tucson, AZ; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Pat Thurlow.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with military honors offered by the US Army. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Active pallbearers will be Steve Holley, Bobby Garrison, Jason Koss, Noah Koss, Joseph Spedale, Jr., and Mike Richardson. Flowers will be accepted, or donations in Mr. Holley's name may be made to the Benevolence Center at St. Andrew Baptist Church.
