Mrs. Ida P. Hutchinson was born Dec. 14, 1952, to the late Emma Earline and Spicey Green Smith. Minister Hutchinson departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at her home.

She attended school in Gulf County, Fla. She was employed by Cor-rections Corporation of America (CCA) for 17 years. She joined New Beginnings Assembly of The Saints Church in 1997. She also became a member of the ministerial staff after preaching her trial sermon in March 2000.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Arthur Hutchinson of Crestview, Fla.; three children, one preceded her in death, Minister Carlotta Young, Emma Nicholson and Joyce Peterson, both of Pa-nama City, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Natasha, Kelvin II, Jelysa, Des-mond, Tony, Angelica, Cameron, Jakire and Jordan, all of Panama City, Fla.; four great-grandchildren, Elijah, Nastassjia, Malasia and Kortez, all of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Sarah Kilpatrick and Mary Addison, both of Panama City, Fla.; two brothers, Cecil (Debbie) Webb of Warner Robins, Ga., and Fred (Janice) Smith of Townsend, Mass.; one uncle, Roosevelt Lawrence of Dothan, Ala.; host of step-children; nieces; nephews; godchildren, Laquita Gaskins, Sharon Holmes, Patrica Lawrence, Racquel Johnson, Tangela Peterson, William and Tracey Collier and Christopher Capeheart of Panama City, Fla.; favorite cousins, Joanne Bland of Tallahassee, Fla., and Regina Jones of Panama City, Fla.; special friends, Patricia Smith and Jackie White of Panama City, Fla.; and a host of other caring relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Minister Hutchinson will begin at 11 a.m. Sat-urday, Jan. 16, 2010, at New Beginnings Assembly of the Saints with Elder Marion Mitchell, Elder Matthew Mitchell, presiding bishop, and Lonnie Mitchell Sr. presenting the eulogy. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Public visitation will begin from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 15, 2010, at the funeral home. The body will lie in state Saturday, one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
