Jon, 72, of Bartow FL passed away due to complications of esophageal cancer on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his twin Brother's home in Panama City, FL.

Jon was born in Arcadia, FL to Gordon Martin and Janet Beveride Currier of Bartow, FL. He graduated from Florida Southern College in political science. He became a staff sergeant in the USAF with one tour of duty in a Medical support unit at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, South Vietnam. After his service he became devoted to His mother's happiness until her sudden Death. Then he went to California and worked as a travel agent in the Twin Towers, downtown Los Angeles. Afterwards, he returned to Florida with His brother in 1991.

In Panama City, he became a productive Member of the community. He worked in The pharmacy at Jackson Drug Store and Then as a certified pharmacy tech at Albertson's until he retired in 2003. He also Became a lifetime member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, VFW Post 8205 in Parker, FL. Jon had a 9-month womb mate and a 22 year Roommate with his brother. He was truly an Honorable and devoted brother and a perfect Roommate. He will be sorely missed.

No memorial service will be held, but if anyone Would like to call Jay and leave a message of Condolence, please do. His remains will be sent To a niche at Bushnell National Cemetery, north of Tampa, FL.

Jon is survived by his twin brother, Jay Beveride Currier; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Heirs of Bartow (subsequently the Wife of Gordon Martin Jr, (Sandy)Currier and Dallas Peters); nephew, William Brent (Brent) Currier and wife Suzanne Luckey of TX nephew, Gordon Martin III (Marty) Currier and wife Gayle Oehler of OK; nephew, Greg M. Currier of CA; nephew, Dallas Peters of TX; brother, Robert Beveride Bean of Chicago; nieces, Pam Bean and Red Beyer of Texas; Janet Beveride (JB) Bean and Ellen Bean of Chicago and all of their families.

Special thanks is given to Covenant Hospice and those who helped Jon; especially Patricia, Marsha, and Chaplain Bryan. Also, Brock's Hometown Funeral Home for their Quick response and support.
