Joyce C. Kidd of Panama City Beach FL passed away at Gulf Medical Center following a sudden heart attack in her home Thursday morning, June 13th, 2013 at the age of 74.
Joyce was born in Xenia Ohio to the late Joseph and Irene Ferguson.
She is survived by her brother Gary Ferguson of Jackson MI; her son Thomas Kidd III of Morningside MD; her daughter Lora Wareham of Callaway FL; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and her former husband Dr. Thomas Kidd Jr of Findlay OH.
Joyce studied design and marketing in Chicago IL before moving to Fostoria OH in 1964 to raised her family. As a member of the Fostoria Women's Club, she was active in her local community. In 1994 she moved to Panama City Beach FL where, for the next 14-years she worked with the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Joyce was an enthusiastic supporter of the arts. She served on the Bay Arts Alliance Board of Directors for many years including a term as the Vice President of Membership. She loved the blue Gulf of Mexico waters and white sand of Panama City Beach.
At her request, her ashes will be quietly scattered at sea. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bay Arts Alliance at 8 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32401 (850) 769-1217 firstname.lastname@example.org.
