Norman Earl Cain, 78, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

He was born in Chipley, and lived most of his life in Bay County. Norman was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, and was a retired accountant from the Internal Revenue Service and Cain & Associates. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church for 41 years, where he served as deacon and treasurer. Norman coached youth baseball and softball for many years, and loved the time he spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lillie Mae Cain, and a sister, Dorothy McDaniel.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Margie Medley Cain; his children, Debbie Campbell (Charles) of Lynn Haven, Perry Cain of Leisure Lakes, and Matt Cain (Stacy) of Lynn Haven; 2 sisters, Olene Dowell of Iowa and Evelyn Boyd of Dawson, GA; his grandchildren, Charles David Campbell, Stephanie McNutt (Trey), Brienna Campbell, Kristin Lawler (Justin), Tyler Cain (Brandy), Hunter Cain, Forrest Cain, Ashlynn Guthrie (Kevin), Courtney Cain and Nicholas Cain; and his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Campbell, Payton Lawler, Ansley Lawler, Aniston Cain, Kale Cain and Anna-Lynn Guthrie.

A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Luther Stanford officiating. Interment with military honors offered by the US Army Honor Guard will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 19, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norman's name may be made to either The Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 530 Airport Rd., Panama City, FL 32405, or to the , 378 Center Pointe Circle, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.

Mr. Cain's grandsons will serve as his pallbearers.
